$220 This dress- hailing from the late 13th century in England- is really a stunner. . .the picture doesn't do it justice. The colors are shades of purple and silver-grey, with highlights of pinks, oranges and teals. The overdress, or 'sideless surcoat,' is cut short in the front to display the underdress, but trails in the back. The underdress has false-laced sides, giving the impression of yet a third layer. The fabrics are chosen for their light floating movement, but are given substance by the colorful tapestry trim and the custom stamping technique used. It fits a 36' bust and 40' hips, and has an adjustable waistline. It will reach the ground on a person who is 5'6". |
